Trigen operates the central heating and cooling facility that serves the 4,000 room Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. In addition the hotel, the facility serves the associated Casino and Sands Convention Facility. Thevequipment at the Venetian is capable of producing 32,420 tons of electric chilled water, 187,600 lbs/hr of high-pressure steam, 150 million Btus/hr of hot water and 14 MW of emergency electricity.
